The Paper Presentation Prize will be awarded to the best paper presentation by a PhD candidate at RaAM2021. This prize is sponsored by the John Benjamins Publishing Company.
Criteria for eligibility
You are eligible for the prize if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a student member of the RaAM Association;
- Your submission for a paper has been accepted and you are the sole or main author and will present the paper yourself in the RaAM 2021 conference;
- Your PhD has not been completed at the time of abstract submission.
If you meet these criteria and want to be considered for the prize, please indicate this when you register and pay for the conference (deadline to be announced).
The Local Organising Committee will select the 6 PhD candidates whose paper abstracts have received the highest evaluation from the Scientific Committee in the review of submissions for the conference as finalists. We will then notify all candidates of the decision.
Winner selection
Judges will be appointed by the Local Organising Committee to judge the presentations of candidates during the conference. All candidates will be scheduled in the same track. The LOC will ensure that judges are not connected with the candidate’s research (e.g. as supervisor, co-supervisor or ex-supervisor).
